STILI E USANZE
Paese che vai, usanza che trovi, si diceva una volta.
Fortunatamente è ancora un po’ così. Domenica mattina. Toronto, Canada.
Un ragazzo con le cuffie del I-Pod insteccate nelle orecchie si libra coi suoi pattini sulla pista di ghiaccio pubblica al lago Ontario.
E’ la conferma che ogni uomo sulla faccia di questa terra ha bisogno di un momento per stare con sé stesso, ha bisogno di lasciare dietro le spalle i pensieri della settimana passata, del lavoro, della morosa.
Quel ragazzo balla elegantemente da solo, guidato da una musica che sa solo lui, dall’esterno la sua è una danza asimmetrica.
Ma importante, graziosa.
La giornata è grigia, fredda, ma non importa; il sole, il caldo, partono da dentro, e quella danza di domenica mattina è significativa.
Perché esprime libertà, esprime un modo di essere.
Sono usanze, sono stili di vita dettati dalla storia del posto dove si vive.
Dovrebbe rimanere sempre così, la diversità aiuta a crescere, ammirare stili e comportamenti diversi può aiutare solo a migliorarsi.
Se non fosse così, saremmo tutti degli stupidi automi identici tra loro.
